I am thinking of getting a Cub Cadet 76 I spotted on EBay UK about a three hours' drive from me. I don't know a lot about these as I usually go for Bolens but I fancy something in a different colour! There's no deck on this one. Here are some photos of it. I know that the engine is not original and that it should be a B&S 7hp. The seat's wrong too. Are the fenders correct and is the hood correct for this model. When were these models produced? Thanks.

Cool little LT! Got some healthy tires on it! according to Tractor Data, these were produced from 1972-76.

I've owned one model 76 . Yes those are the correct fenders , and hood .

The hood and grill is one piece fiberglass and is prone to crack around the bottom where they are attached to the frame , so look at that area closely .

The one I owned was patched with fiberglass matting and resin , and if just cracked aren't that hard to repair .
