Duct tape.

Gorilla tape. It's what duct tape used to be. Granted way more expensive but to me worth every penny.

Just got finished milking 58 cows in one hour & 10 minutes, so I can say the vacuum milker system is at the top of my list of greatest inventions!  Try milking 58 beasts by hand in that time!  :D

Try that with the bucket milkers and cream cans with strainers. How many cans would those 58 fill?  15? And how much lifting would be involved then?

Ok, then I'll modify my list topper by changing it to "vacuum milker pipeline to bulk tank system".  :smilewink:   I don't remember how much the old cream cans hold, but if 100lbs, then yes, 15 cans per milking.

For me, the greatest invention varies by what I am doing.

However, one of my all time favorites is the lightbulb!

Used to call them 10 gallon cans so about 80 pounds that way.  Not to be confused with 10 gallon hats.

To the question--pickup trucks.

Those were made FROM man not BY man. If man had made them he would have put a mute button somewhere.
