Hi:

The deck tin on my 520H is rotted out and I'm looking at options.  Found a used shell for $100, but the ad says it's pre-1990 and my tractor is post-1992.  Does anyone know if they are interchangable?

Thanks heaps!

Welcome to GTtalk. The main thing will be the mounting hardware, if it's from a "D" series tractor, you will have to change the hangers from your old deck to the new one. Other then that, you should be good to go.

If it's a B series up to 77 or any C series it will work fine. B's to 77, all C's and 300,400, 500 series all were interchangable. Can you post a picture to make sure?

Oh, and mine is not post-1992. It's a 1990 (41-20OE01).

I bought mine in awful shape I gave a 100 for the whole tractor fluid looked good. So I knew going in I needed to rebuild the carb and buy a deck
