Here are some pics of the rebuild of the E-14 Elec trak rebuild. I didn't get to many pics of the disassembly but did manage to take more of the rebuild.

Don't know electrics, but those ARE one nice looking tractor.  They stayed available for long time, but now long enough. Wonder if modern controls and batteries could now be used in a new design for one of these or similar?  I've also wondered if anyone has ever tried to convert this nice chassis into a gas engine run vehicle?  Probly have to have open sides for cooling then, maybe that would wreck the good design?

Brother has one that is not in very good condition and we have discussed turning it into a gas project.

These things are so darn cool! I want one so bad, but I don't really know why. They look really awesome, one of the cooler looking tractors I've seen. Great job so far. Turning one into gas powered might not really work. The transmission probably has a crazy high gear reduction for the electric motor. Golf carts have like a 13:1 gear reduction in the differential.
