I picked this old Clinton up yesterday along with some NOS goodies. For some reason I just couldnt leave this old girl behind to be possibly scrapped so I saved it, lucky thing I did

Swapped out carbs (I always have a rebuilt one ready to go) and put a new fuel valve and line on along with a muffler and she fired on the first pull. Runs great and no smoke!

What a find! :dancingbanana:

Of course it ran, Brian... gee, what do you think?  You've got a Clinton, not some ol' gas engine knockoff like they make now!  :smilewink:

Sounds like it runs good.  They do like small bore Kohler carburetors.

It is a 2 horse model.

Is there any way to find the year of this engine?
