Some MTD 990 parts are still available from Bolens1000 (MTD dealer) or myself. If you have the MTD model number that can be figured out for certain.
If not, throttle controllers can be matched, too, if we have pictures.

Be careful buying online because most of these are just replacement cables & no lever. Try to find one on here or check on eBay for one.

They are available but expensive little buggers!
$50.17 knob sold separate!
Do you have a picture of this cable? I have access to bulk cable and a bunch of control heads, may be able to custom make you one and not break the bank

Thanks a lot guys, Im not sure that was original on mine seems it already has a froze up aftermarket on it. I don't have a knob to know either. Some pictures I have seen they almost look like a sears suburban the way the lever curves.
