The paint on Ariens tractors and attachments from that time period was really poor. I've seen their tractors look just like that and there was no rust through anywhere. I wouldn't be afraid of purchasing that blower.

I talked to the seller this morning in hopes of picking it up thursday. and he said the words that everyone one of us hate to hear.

Yeah...I've found you have to jump on deals like that VERY quickly.  They don't last...unless they are in the boondocks and nobody wants to drive out there to get it.  I have gotten some deals just because I'm willing to travel a bit.  I don't mind a little road trip to get tractors/parts/attachments!  I just hope someone on here got it.
