Does anybody know anything about rebuilding/ repairing a mechanical PTO on a Jake Chief? My blower tractor pto just gave up the ghost and I really need to get it working again, asap, as I drive truck and am leaving again in AM, don't know when I will be back. Too much work to swap blower and dozer blade between tractors, I think.

http://gardentractor...p-instructions/

This is the manual for the tractor, the procedure is on page 23

This is the tool you need to check the clutch adjustment.

You might be able to just make a quick adjustment to get you going for now. Good luck!

If you can't fix yours could try Joe http://gardentractor...-outdoor-power/ he often has parts for these.

Or ebay a couple guys parting out Chiefs and Ford 100/120/140 same tractor could ask them, good luck
