My wife's great uncle passed away yesterday evening. He took his wife to work in the morning. Went home. She called him at 2:30 told him to check on the food in the crock pot and to pick her up at 4. He didn't show up to pick her up and she got a ride home with a friend. She went in and found him on the floor. He was unresponsive.

He must of had a sudden Heart attack. They were married at least 40 some years.

Everyone is shocked and upset. He had no health issues that i know of and this was completely unexpected. Last night she was inconsolable.

Please keep her in your prayers. These are great people. She has a lot to deal with it and is very upset. She went to stay with her sister so she has someone with her.

Sorry to hear this sad news but one consolation is that he was not suffering from a long drawn out ill health. For his wife, I feel desperately sorry for her not to say their goodbyes and be prepared.

It's so sad to hear of the sudden losses. Especially the ones who seem to be in good health.

Very sorry to hear of this sudden loss.  When an individual is sick for a long period of time and the end is expected, it's still hard to handle.  A sudden death involving an otherwise healthy individual, well, it just sucks.  Been through it, don't wanna experience it again.  Prayers of comfort for the family.

Sorry to hear, those sudden losses are hard to take.

My pastor had a heart attack getting ready for church a few years back. He had no signs and relatively healthy at 49 yrs old. He recovered and healthier than he has ever been. You never know.

This is what gets me and brings tears to my eyes. Never having that chance to say goodbye.

Thanks guys. She needs all the prayers and thoughts she can get. I feel so bad for her and wish desperately that I could make it better for her.

Hard on all concerned, my thoughts are with her. We all know it is inevitable, the not knowing when is what makes every day precious.
