That Rapid Rex looks like a tough, well built machine. With that green "snout," on the front, it reminds of some sort of insect.

That tractor is known as "Little Bud" but can you actually call it a Bolens when both drive axles are from 400 series Case GT's ?

Just asking.

Merle McCormick built "Little Bud" .He is a Bolens collector and had a spare Bolens hood/grill so he used it,and I suppose since it looked like a Bolens ,that's why he put the Bolens name on it.Between the head lights it says :Custom Built Bolens .

Big Bud does not use trans-axles from 400 series Case GT's.
