wow just looked through 10 pages in this thread....thanks for starting this one. i love the look of a round nose wheel horse with duals. i saw a pic of a cub today with a snow blower and duals. the only thing wrong was that the duals stuck out wider than the blower.

Looks like a Ventrac, I thought those were supposed to be great on hills! Looks like they slid right down the hill.

The Ventrac mower decks have a roller on the back that will stripe the grass nicely and the operators try to mow each pass in the same direction every time to "burn" in the stripe. Early morning and a bit of dew when he tried to back down to the edge and start mowing that pass. Tires slipped and he slid to the waters edge where he held it until someone got there with the back hoe. They hooked a chain to it and when they pulled, the chain slipped and in he went. The operator was smart enough to kill the engine before he bailed out. Changed all the fluids and filters several times and have used it for almost 1000 hours since the incident.

We were very surprised that it slipped because these machines will go almost anywhere. It had mowed that area many times before and has many times since.
