Here's a pair of MTDs separated by about 40 years.  The pedal drives are scarily similar!14 jun 09 001.JPG

I had one of those Yard Bugs given to me a couple years ago.Parts for it was to expensive to justify fixing it.Only things it needed was Cables for the brake and drive system.Both were seized up with rust.

Both cables were around $75 each.

I ended up taking the engine and tires off of it to put on my little old Snapper Comet rider.My yard bug had a good running 8.25hp briggs in it.

Hard engine to find, and irreplaceable with anything else.  I tried stuffing an 11 in this one-=didn't work.
