Has anyone had any experiencce installing h2 hyd from 317 to a 314 ? I'm having trouble with bottom control linkage hitting frame when I try to hook it up . I know I've got everything according to JD parts picture .

Any help would surely be appreciated .

  Hi Larry,

I just did that a couple of months ago and mine went real smooth. Do you have any pix of your linkage? I think when I did mine I had to rotate my linkage 180 degrees.

Hello Don ,

I tried that but it doesn't let lever move much . It seems like the control arm is to far inside the frame. I 'll try to take  a picture with my iphone .

Larry, do you have the arms that the linkage hooks to turned the right way and adjusted as close to the end of the shaft as possible?

The first time I put mine together I had the arms wrong. Did you do duel brakes also ?

Do you have the parts diagram for a 317. It shows the correct orientation for the levers and the short arm that attaches to the lever shaft. There are also spacers shown that need to be in the correct places. I found the diagram less helpful with getting the linkage parts assembled correctly for the 2 levers.
