$75 is a great buy even if it doesn't run. Most of the ones I have looked at are in the $300 and above price range.

Even I would take that deal, and I'm not a Massey collector!

This is the best proof that it is a good deal: one of the biggest Green guys telling you to go get a red tractor!

If it's complete, then there's no way I'd pass on it, even if it's rough.

Well I picked it up today the serial number is 1446805721 Anyone know what that entails? We couldn't get it to go into neutral so we just muscled up onto the trailer. The deck is on it and turns freely It came with a blade but not sure if its the right one or even how it would hook up I was going to take some pictures but I left my camera on and recharging the batteries now so will get some pics up here later I know nothing about these but I see they must have came with and without headlights This one has no lights

Great score on that one. Been sitting a while outside but looks not too bad. That must be a newer blade than my 12. Mine has the pole that reaches back to the rear hitch.

Looks like any early model gear drive MF12, has the long fuel tank and early style mower mounts.

The Blade I don't think is right for the MF10 or 12, the mount you have looks like what they used for the MF7 or 8 tractors, and the angle control on the blade is home made.

How wide is the blade? should be 42".

Tractor looks like it's all there and unmolested, a good starting point.

The tractor looks very much like my 1975 12G but the cutting deck and blade are different. Great deal and a lot of potential!

So where do I find a parts breakdown of the tractor Im thinking first thing is to pull the engine and see if we can get it running before I do anything with this
