Does any one know what to use to apply (epoxy?) a brake liner to a brake band? Does the paint need to be removed first? How about the new paint on the brake hub, will it wear off on its own or will it gum up the brake pad? Sorry, last question, does anyone know a source for the brake band liner (pad) for a mf10? Thanks for any tips.

Some clutch shops can reline the clutch/brake material. The paint on the drum will wear off on it's own. The band should be cleaned of any paint, rust, or dirt before applying the new brake material.

Not familiar with the MF10 brake band but i relined my Suburban12s brake. The material came from Mcmaster carr. I counter sunk brass 8/32 mahine screws with lock nuts on the back and used JB Weld as the glue.
