For the first time since November, and I'm stuck here in the house still sick. Haven't been out since Christmas except to go to Dr..( well amost) Getting better but it is taking a long time. Now the son has it and is trying to fight it off. The wife is staying away from us so she doesn't get it. Not the flu, just the colds and upper respiratory infection crap. Got about 4 1/2" here now and there is supposed to be more lake effect snow coming later tonight and tomorrow. Did get out yesterday for a few minutes, to go start the neighbors plow truck to make sure it is ready to go. Also fired up his Kubota and put the plow on the bucket so it is ready to use if needed. Now I just need to get over this and bundle up and get out there and enjoy some seat time on the Homelite (with dozer blade) and the Jacobsen ( with blower). For now I think I will just get ready to watch the Lions and Cowboys while I work on a couple of small projects here in the house. Stay warm be careful if your outside and " GO LIONS " !                                                                       Roger

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather, Roger.  Hope you feel good enough to get out and get some snow back where it belongs!

Roger, Hope you get feeling better soon.  I hear this white stuff can be cumulative if you don't stay ahead of it.

Get well Roger!  I got seat time yesterday, and again today.  Had to get that wet slushy stuff off the drive, as the temp is dropping dramatically.  Was in the upper 30s yesterday, mid 30's this morning, and is 22* and falling now.  They say windchill of -25* by morning, with a high of around 5*.  We got about 2" this morning, after lots of rain yesterday....the type that doesn't melt the snow, but makes it into a thick, translucent blanket of soon-to-be ice.

The winds of change are blowing now....the lake effect is coming down, and shows no signs of stopping.  Storm Watch for tomorrow night with wind and a half foot of the wonderful white stuff!

Sure would like to see that homie pushing through some N. MI drifts!
