We are just starting to get the front edge of that cold front.  Temp is still at 27 but dropping 2° per hour.  Wind is at 18 mph out of the West.  Windchill is 16.  Would much rather have seen the 4" of snow than the cold.

yes we had to play in the slop and snow this morning when I went to get the new Suburban. At least it wasn't windy, and the temp did warm up enough to melt it down.  It looks like we are in for a cold week coming up.

We will see how cold it gets. I work outside and have gotten used to dressing for it.

I stocked up on last years dark maple syrup . Was told recently that this years run would not be great by current predictions .

Pancakes and syrup still get the job done for me .

The cold front has passed us by for now and we had a high of 48 today.  Second wave coming in soon though.  The cold you can dress for, the wind is a different story.  it cuts right through you.

Sure wish we had that hot weather.  Last night... -20, yea, that's 20 below zero.  Today, a high of -10, right now it's -12 and dropping.  Gawd, I love living in Norf Dakoota.  Atleast that's what I have to keep telling myself, I sure miss living in Indiana.  Don't tell my wife I said that.... LOL  We have gone through much more firewood than I had figured on, got a feeling I don't have enough to make it til spring, I only put up 5-6 cords of split wood.

- 14 c with - 24 c wind chill here. And snow and rain coming. But not as bad as last year. Snow up too, you know what's, this time last year. It's great, not using any gas or no break downs. Noel.

Like Willie said above, it was warm yesterday. Down to 21° (-6C) this morning and won't get above freezing today!

NW wind is at 25-35 MPH gusts and the temp has dropped to 18° (-8C) since the original post @ 4 AM. Get ready folks!

I'll join in with some weird weather from North of the border. It's been cold here the last few days and it was -9.5C 15F when I got up. It' snowing or freezing rain or ice pellets or something out there with a pretty good wind blowing. 3-4 inches on the ground. By noon it's supposed to warm up above freezing and rain. Then it will hit +12C 54F tonight into tomorrow before flash freezing back down to -12C 10F or so tomorrow night. High will be not much warmer than that on Monday!
