I figure'd I would show you guys some of my past tractors. Unfortunately I had to sell both of them due to my move from NH to ND. Can't take everything. And I had some toys!! A 1940 Model B slant dash, and a 1958 430T. Wish I still had them.

YouTube - 1958 John Deere 430 W/ Straight Pipe

Here is a video of me backing the 430 in the driveway. Other than pictures, the only real memory I have of her. :mecry:

Those are some nice looking John Deeres, sorry you had to part with them. Thanks for sharing the pictures and video of them. The 430 had to be a bit on the rare side, it's a very cool tractor. Did your B have the high/low range tranny? We had one on the farm and with the high/low range it had a pretty fast road gear in it.

The B was a slant dash. Broke my heart to part with it. Nothing too unusual or rare about the 430. It had the optional 5 speed.

Here is a pic of the dash. They only made slant dash B's for a couple of years. I should have kept that tractor!

Wonder if I know where they went, fellow by the name of Bradeen in Colebrook/Pittsburg area is a big JD fan always buying and once in a while selling, and I know of a fellow in Swanzey who is another collector of JD green, his name escapes me right now.... it is a small world.
