I've got a 140 amp john deere welder, recent rewound/recased powerhead, motor is cast iron k241AS kohler 10hp, 17hr since light overhaul, rings, bearings, seals, carb and a valve job. Welds great, high frequency for scratch tig, 120 outlet, new paint, 10 foot of lead on it currently. Could use a tune up (points/plug) plus a choke cable but fires right up and has welded anything ive asked it too with no issue. 1/2 plate lightly beveled is easy for this machine and it will flat out burn through 1/4 at full heat. looking to trade for a S-10 or full size chevy. If intrested I will sell the welder for cash in hand also. texting is easier I dont always get clear cell signal

That's a cool welder but i can't help wondering, if he was able to do a "light overhaul" (rings, bearings, seals) on the engine... and rewind the coil... why can't he do a "tune up" (points, plugs) prior to selling it?
