I don't want to go the custom route if I don't have to.

My best machinist (brother)is 75 miles away.Have a machinist at work but take 2 weeks to get a part back.

At this time I prefer to do a bolt in with mods if needed.

I see no need for a roller thrust bearing on the top of the spindle there is no weight there.

Trailer axle stub spindle conversion will come later,I already have the donor axle.

 Tractor is currently completely disassembled for cleaning paint and general refurbish

I have a front axle out of a Bolens HT23--it uses 1" spindles.  I can measure it if you're interested.

using a cub cast iron axle with jd tapered nearing spnidles.

Sorry pics will be slow in coming

old camera is not compatible with new computer.

My daughter takes pics for me when she has time

 

I think I need to buy a new camera instead of GT's
