okay so i have torn into this 120 due to an oil leak and the lack of being able to backing up. i was able to free up the stuck check valve and now it drives and functions as normal, but i cannot get oil to stop seeping from  the top pin on the check valve. :mad2: . is there some trick to this? i hate to buy a new valve when this one is functioning fine other than the leak it has.

Sounds like it the buttons are not fully freed up so it does not seal well under pressure.  Keep working on those and see if they seal.  What are you using on them?  ATF would be a good choice to pour over the buttons into the valve.
