Too cold here for a midnight drive on the tractor Will, but its a good thought.  When I was much younger and had some anti freeze in me, I would do that.  He he,   Noel

My wife is russian,so this A BIG DEAL FOR HER!! As it is for most all Russians as Christmas for them is AFTER new years, January 6th .So I'll be up to see the ball drop and eat TONS of food!! As she and her mom are very superstitious and must start the newyear with a table full of food and drink.
Personally, I could care less, its just another day closer to death, and for some....
My best friend usually comes over and we have a good time and usually get pretty tuned up lol.
Happy New Year everyone. And please be safe out there.

I'm going to the New Years eve tractor drop at my friends house. We took an old Craftsman and took the engine off, drag it up on top of his storage trailer on the hill, decorate it with lights and at midnight, down she comes. What a blast!

Pennsultucky at its best!  Sounds like a blast, take some video or pictures!

I'll stay up and finishing selling equipment until farms and businesses decide that they can't suck any more tax benefit out of that break for 2014.

I'll be right here at the homestead as we may have freezing rain moving in. Aaron has to work, so no party going on out back.

We are getting discharged. Tested positive for influenza a. They gave him Zofran nausea medicine. Said he is probably mostly out of it now but when my wife freaks out I know to jump because she usually doesn't do that.

Thanks for the kind words

I'm home alone, out in the shop. Our daughter's best friend just moved back here and is living with us till she gets established. Now with this cold snap (thanks, Canada---JUST KIDDING) the friends car won't start to get her to her new job. The girls all wanted to go out, our niece's first New years at 21 years old so I stayed home to tinker with the disabled car, and I have to go to work a few hours tomorrow morning anyway. Son went to do video games all night somewhere. I'm taking a break and having a couple beers so it's gettin' pretty wild here-LOL!

We never make it to midnight anymore so no big deal, paid our dues and built up credit for that many years ago!

I wish the midnight tractor ride hadn't been brought up as it is so tempting but it's just a little to cold to be on a GT with no snow to push!! :smilewink:

That sounds like my Christmas present. I think I caught the crud from Cat in the mod lounge. He had it over Chrismas and it hit me Satruday. last night i felt better but had a relapse today. I could convince myself not to throw up but I could poo through a screen door. Hopefully he'll get over it soon.

I'm still going to try to go out and do a little partying with the dogs and try to start a tractor. Wind chills are below 0 but no precip. I'll have the rope wrapped at midnight. keep your fingers crossed. just hope I don't have to run to the john!!
