I've haven't made it to midnight in10 year so I won't even try. I think I made it for the year 2000 to see the world crash and the lights didn't even flicker. Not worth it

I will be on the rig in west Texas, probably done with supper by 6:30, asleep by 8 or so and up again to start my day and a new year at 2:30 a.m. Jan 1.  I will be down here 21 days before I go home on the 7th so my wife is flying down Saturday and we will drive home together.

Happy New Year Willie

We were supposed to go to our nephews new cabin for the last two days of deer season here in Michigan. Due to the fact that I am sick and have been for nearly two weeks we can't go. Dr. said stay home and get better. I guess at my age I ain't as young as I used to be. LOL Just going to sit around the house and watch some tv and maybe the wife and I will play some cribbage. Remember if you imbibe in the spirits please don't drive We need all the good people we can get here on the forum. When I was younger and my dad was alive I used to call him just before midnight every year to wish him happy new year. We did this for over 25 years. Happy New Year from our home and we hope you have a very healthy and prosperous one.                                                                    Roger.

We may dine out early but then its right back home.

I can handle the professional drunks out any given night of the year but on New Years all the amateur drunks using the "bump and turn method" to find home make it too risky.
