Note, I know this isn't a GT, but I would be willing to trade for a GT, so I hope this is allowed. Sorry in advance if it isn't.

For sale or trade is an untouched Case VAIW-4. I was told this was manufactured for by Case for the Military in the 1940s. Rear tires are filled with calcium, front right tire holds air, front left is flat and no longer holds air.

Engine: 4 cylinder engine, turned over by hand recently. Needs to be completely restored, rewired, etc. Exhaust manifold is cracked.

Transmission: the wheels when jacked up, spin in opposite directions. I am only able to shift in third and Neutral.

Reason for selling: Lost interest, I mainly work on old trucks and motorcycles & would like to trade for something along those lines.

Price is $1,000 OBO and trades I welcome. I'm not looking to be insulted, if my price is out of this world, please nicely tell me & I will adjust it accordingly. I am mainly interested in trading it. Trades & Cash are fine too. Old motorcycles, 4 wheeler, old garden tractors, 60s/70s ford trucks, etc

If interested, this is heavy, your friend will not be able to help you load on a trailer. Strong winch or you'll need a flatbed. Weights over 3,000lbs
PM me with questions. Thank you

Titus,
The post above has some odd links in it. Specifically the one going to Amazon Mil Spec stuff. I am editing them out
If you didnt copy and paste from another forum, you may have a virus.
If you did do a copy and paste from somewhere else, be aware they are using your words to trigger keyword ads.

Good luck in your sale, be fun to see what you trade it for and what the new owner will do with it.

Thank you MH, I copied it over from the MTF forum, and when I refreshed the page, I see certain words highlighted.

Thank you again for correcting that.

No problem. Anytime something like that comes up, do not hesitate to give one of us a holler or at least hit the report button.
Sometimes when guys copy from over there, they get that kinda spammy stuff. George could do the same thing here, but he would rather not have it here for the sake of a few dollars.

There were several options on the fenders as I recall, It might have had feners like the VAC, it might have had cut down version of the VAC style it might have had the big, heavy stylized ones, or I suppose it might have had nothing.   Unique pieces like this for Military and Industry were sometimes spec per order.  Especially back then.

The third pic looks to be a narrower front.

I had it in my head that they didn't have the toolbox, looks like some did and some didn't.

Measurements:

Length front to back 8 feet
Length tire to tire 7 feet
41 inches width
Eight 5'7

All measurements within an inch or two, it was pouring out.

Few Pms I've gotten, any old motorcycles Id be interested in looking at. Gts, any brand.
