Or enter for that matter ? It's free ! And part of the fun that you can have on this site. So go vote and then next month enter your tractor !

It's something we have often wondered ourselves. However I think there will be a little more incentive for the featured tractors in the near future. That is all I can say for now :D

On the mobile site seems like topics get forgotten about after 2 days. I feel like the bad guy saying this because i really like the site but the site seems cluttered with more off topic subjects than tractor subjects anymore

I have noticed low participation in contests that other forums have too. I do realize that themes do really cut the number of members that will have a tractor that fits in any given contest. Maybe no theme every other contest ? I think that might help some but I honestly think for the most part members just skip it altogether.

Just out of curiosity what do you consider off topic?

I think off topic subjects would see an increase due to it being the cooler months. I know I haven't done anything really with the tractors other than dream since it got cooler out. Once spring rolls around it will be a different story. I should get out in the shop even in the winter to work on a couple of projects. The holidays throw a wrench in some of those plans as well.

I have a hard time deciding which one I want to vote for. Most entries deserve something other than to be ignored. It's like watching a woman choose a pair of shoes.  :wallbanging:

Chris they really are not being ignored. It is like going to a tractor show and entering. We just do it here with pictures. Like at the shows it is another way to share pictures and stories about our tractors or to be able to see stories and pictures of tractors that might not have otherwise been posted.

I usually look through the entrants but with what little I know about them I never feel qualified to make a decision on a particular one. They are always so cool it is impossible to make a choice for me.

Entering? well I don't have anything of any special significance or duties to enter. Mow with one, push snow with the other, Same thing year after year!---LOL!

What I'm trying to say is that most look good enough to be #1. That's where the indecision comes in. I guess I could flip a coin but then it doesn't feel like I've decided on anything that way. So I'll look and enjoy and leave it at that.

To those adding their entries, Thank You!

I won twice in the first couple of years of GTTalk so I've been sitting out the contests.  I still vote most months - when I don't forget......

I think the rise of off topic conversations comes up because many of us folks who have been here awhile are as a group tied together by a friendship that started with tractors and has now gone a bit out of control!

There are also a lot of tractor threads that don't show up under the new topics area just because they have been going on for years.
