I have a Murray Wide Body with a 17.5 Briggs engine. Would this type of tractor make a good puller?

That's a tough question, and I have to admit I'm not that familiar with the Wide Body.
There are Murrays that are lawn tractors and there are Murrays that are rated for ground engagement and have a stout transmition.
I have to admit that years ago I had a 12 hp Lawn Chief built by Murray and after making a set of chains and a snow plow for it. I kept a 140 ft drive clean all winter and abused it beyond all good sense and it came back for more. They are underated by most, maybe myself included.
So I would say do with it as you please, but accept the fact that it could break.
When I bought my place in December, the previous owner left a Murray on the place.
A Yard King, 22 hp with 52" mower. Checking has shown it to be rated for ground engagement.
I have no intention of pulling with it. But it may do some garden work.
