Please excuse me guys but I have been away for a bit dealing with a heart procedure. I am still in recovery but can do a little. What does Bolens PN 172-0718 fit? It is a belt I am working on my 900 that I started way last fall. After all the work and new parts I am putting into it I don't want to use the wrong belt.

1715740 - Power Take Off Belt - 42-7/8"

1715006 - Drive Belt - 34"

1714690 - Generator Drive Belt - 31-31/32"

These are the belts for the 900. Not sure about #172-0718.

Get healthy, Deerlope. Merry Christmas.

Bolens 1000 has it listed in the "Pinned" section under belt sizes as follows.

"Bolens 800, 850 and 900: Drive Belt (for high and low range) , Bolens part # 1720718"

Looks like a drive belt replacement for the OEM.

1720718 is new number that was given to 1715006 (Material change was made in most cases, probably to new Kevlar instead of the raw edge originals)

I have  USA made new belts instock if you need them

I'd go for a new belt, if you don't know the age of yours. See the doctor's post to determine the age, if you haven't already seen it. Very informative.

Best wishes for a quick recovery, Deerlope and Merry Christmas.
