Ok, maybe I'm just not looking in the right place but I don't see the classifieds section,as age comes so does the eyes go bad,I have a power steering unit for sale for the 18886-05-HT-23 for sale, you guys know how hard they are to come by,I want to give the members first chance before I list it on E-Bay,pm me for the price,I'm not going to give it away, but not also looking for $1000.00 dollars like some have done, not knocking that,if that's what someone wanted to pay than that's there business, sometimes that's the way ebay goes,it will need at some point the small lines replaced, they don't leak but the outer casings are cracked,Thanks, Rick

To be usuable for other projects, wouldn't one need a steering column control box to operate all this?  So, would be Bolens replacement only this way?  Just asking.

Nope all you need is what you see ,the control valve is in front of the cylinder and actuated by the steering drag link, this was an all in one design
