My Buddy just bought a Ford CL40 Skidsteer, he thinks around a 72. Has a small V-4 Ford engine, might be industrial then and maybe made in Germany?  It is a GSG-417 104 CID.  He is wanting to look for rebuild parts. Auto Tech stores he uses don't have listing for that engine. Thought it might also be similar to a SAAB engine used in older cars, but as six cylinder?? I told him best to go to a Ford tractor dealer and look into such items thru them. He hasn't yet. Anyone here familiar with this engine and getting parts for it?  Should be about 40hp he thought. Guess we don't have a skid-steer section, but told him I would throw it on here for starters.

I can get some parts for it I believe, depending on how deep he needs to go inside.  It is a model V4.
