Today I did some horse trading with a fellow member and got myself a good working Snow Thrower, it's missing a couple small parts, brackets, easy to make up.
We had 1 snow fall this season so far and this is what I used to clear the snow from the driveway.
Today was a nice day and I got my new to me snow thrower mounted and working.
I thought I was going to have problems with the muffler in the way but it clears everything, little tight when unit is up.
I had to make a pedal extension to engage/disengage the S/T and need to make the handle for the shoot rotator. Also it has no lift assist bracket or spring, it's not that hard to lift with the handle but I sure when it gets covered in snow during use it will be heavier.
Since I have a gravel driveway I lowered the skid shoes all the way down to try to minimize picking up stones, rocks.
It's rusty and looks rough but it turns, runs nice. Looking forward to trying it out.
