They released her. Said her fever was going down and there was nothing abnormal anywhere.

When she was checked in her fever was 105.7 and now it's 99.8.

I hope this is the end of it. They did change her antibiotics. She has taken one daily since the surgery and she will have to forever since she doesn't have a spleen.

I hope her troubles are behind her. That's a big load for a 12 yr old.

Will do. She has had a very rough road for a 12 year old. Started about 6 months after she was born. She had terrible stomach pains and my wife said she would scream for hours. Took the doctors 3 years to figure out what was wrong. She qualified for a clinical trial for the islet cell transplant. That trial saved her life.

THe unexplained fever. No other symptoms is pretty scary because of her conditions. 99% of the time she is perfectly healthy and does what every other kid does. Sometimes she has stomach pains and things.

she wouldn't be getting her wisdom teeth would she? I remember spiking a fever when mine came in.
