My wife and I retired recently and found little parcel out in country (for our vegetable garden), with lots and lots of grass to mow (located in Enterprise, Alabama).  We recently bought a Kubota B7300 with a belly mower to help with the chores.  It has only 206 hours on the clock and appears to be in very good shape (paid $3800 -- found it on Craigslist).  Only downside I have discovered so far is the front tires have some dry rot and I have learned these tires where custom made by Firestone for Kubota and have been discontinued.  Guess this affects other small Kubotas such as the B-7100 as well.  Still trying to find an acceptable substitute, but our Kubota has 4WD and I understand it is critical to replace the front tires with tires that are compatable with the ones in the rear (or your can damage the drivetrain).  The front tires don't need to be replaced immediately, but I hope something turns up before they do.  I expect I'll be stopping by this forum from time to time seeking advice and, if I have any advice to offer, I expect to do that to.  I really appreciate the on-line communities where folks can gather and help each other out.  Sure beats the days of old when it was nearly impossible to find and/or communicate with others having similar interests.  Thanks to the folks who maintain this forum . . . and those who sponsor it!

Welcome Robert. Alabama is a beautiful state. Congratulations on retirement. Sounds like you found a great place to live. I think Miller Tire in Wassion Ohio has the tires that replace or come close to those on your tractor. I have a friend who is looking at replacing his front tires and he has talked to them.

Welcome aboard. You should be able to find a suitable replacement tire for your Kubota. If you can find the original tire dimensions that will help you match it to a currently available size.

As long as you get tires that are the same height you should be fine. It has to do with the gear ratio. You don't want the front drive and the rear drive fighting each other. If they were mismatched and you only used it in the grass or dirt you may never have any problems. It would still cause extra wear but if you do any operating on hard pack or blactop/concrete where the traction has no give you will wear out and/or break parts in short order.

Yes, welcome here. You might want to check the rear tires and see of they are the original dimensions also.
