the last few days. Been warm and humid for over 4 days. Last two days it was raining and foggy. Normally this time of year we have been plowing and blowing the drives several times. I haven't been a big fan of cold weather for about 10 years or so. I like the fact it has been mild but I guess we do need the snow for at least Christmas. It was raining so hard this morning at 1 am that it woke me up. Worried about the side drive to the big garage where we keep the truck and tractors, we haven't parked the truck in there for a few days. All the frost that had been in the ground has left it very muddy and soft. They say now that we are supposed to get below 30 tonight and we are going to get 1 -3 " of snow overnight. I just looked outside and it is still very foggy. Temperature is still 38* with 98% humidity. Just a few weeks ago we had 18" of snow and was in the teens. I have lived in Michigan for most of my life and I guess it is true what they say about our weather,  " if you don't like it, wait a few minutes it will change" . We will be inside and warm so I guess it can do what it wants. Back in the wood shop tomorrow to get a few projects done and to tart the baby cradle for the daughter and son in law. Christmas eve on the road this year and then back home for Christmas dinner in the evening. Had a hard time sleeping the last few nights. Hopefully not tonight.                                                                                                  Roger.

We got a dusting down here...cold and windy this morning.  Roger has to have a blanket of white up North.

Yup, all we have gotten so far is about a 1/2" or so. They say we are not expecting much more now until Monday possibly, but then again that to could change.

Roger.

We got a couple of inches or so overnight and it is still coming down.  Roads are slushy so driving is a little worrisome.   Three weeks ago we had four foot snowbanks from blowing the driveway out.
