I'm thinking of trading my b212 and simplicity for this 920. What do you guys think? http://harrisburg.cr...4802232363.html

Agreed....its not too much of a gamble. Id make that trade. My 920 was a little smokey, and sold in an hour for $1100. Looking back, it was a good deal for the buyer.

Could be this one is wet stacked, or it could need a rebuild. The latter is unlikely with only 1100 hours, and the former is curable. Unless the cooling fins are plugged with debris. But, if its running good, it should run good for a long time.

With the front blade, mower deck and a snow blower, I'd be all over that deal. you will only have about $500.00 or so in the tractor.

Piston rings are around $133 per cylinder plus shipping.  My 920 needs rings due to running hot on previous owners.  She still runs ok, but smokey and spitting oil out of the exhaust.  Once spring overtime kicks in, I will buy new rings and do a top end rebuild on my engine.  Still an awsome tractor and I would go for it.  The diesels are getting hard to find and are not getting any cheaper.  Mike

Yeah those 212's are a dime a dozen compared to a 920 bite that deal in the butt and pray for lock jaw
