Footrests appear to be Bolens, but the clutch pedal is different.

Footrests appear to be Bolens, but the clutch pedal is different.


If you look closely they are shaped slightly different:

After some very intensive searching I managed to find a picture of another one!

The same guy has a Ride a Matic thats be repowered with a modern motor, and painted red and black. He wants $150 for it with new tires. He also has a Wheel horse with the motor up front and another with the motor in the middle. I didnt ask the price. Then theres a Cub and 2 of the big 16 hydros with Wards names on them. Should I look ant any of these?

And thirdly, Where are you from and who is this guy with the Wheel Horses LOL? If you could get some pics of those...

Well I didnt know we needed Wheel Horse pics. I just got home from the tractor guys house. I bought another machine. Look for the post "Another Bolens". I will get the number from the colum after dinner. Im in Texas. The guy with the Horses is also.

i woild like to see the early wheel horse with the middle motor, an see how much he wants if its not too far from me

That's the one I was after too, but if it's in Texas, that's a little out of may range! I'd still like to see the pics though!

Thats the one that he wont sell. I may get a few more from him. I need a complete GT with a few impliments.

Those Bolens will amaze you how much they can do.
I'd like to see a 6HP "tractor" of today be able to plow a field LOL

Your engine looks original, so if you sayits a 7 then its probably a 7. I was just basing the 6HP off the Bolens 600, but with that being different the engine probably was 7HP
