Hi all, thanks for the replies and I'm thinking the same as you guys are I need stronger boom material, at first I was just thinking about lifting but when you start moving that's a whole new thing so I'll be looking for stronger boom material. I can call this a working model know how to go about it.;

 

You could maybe triple up your tubing.  How did you make those nice S bends? Do you have a tool?

Hi read the complete thread I did not use that square tubing it was a mock up to see what was needed no tool for bending got the tubing from a guy selling it cheap.

Well the boom lift is pretty much finished its painted and ready to go, tomorrow its to make an ID tag and stamp the SN into the base may give it a test and then it will go to the back of the shop out of the way to be used later.
