Didn't get the ford yet but picked up this Jacobsen today. Had it running on starting fluid so I cleaned the carb and now the float doesn't seem to be working and leaks like crazy. So, I am inside now taking a breather after....... some certain words with the tractor. Tractor does have hood just off in pics. Didn't get the deck with it but paid $50 for tractor.

Cool. Looks like it would make a decent little tractor, or parts if you need. A carb kit shouldn't be too expensive.

Just got it going. Had to clean up the carb with a little more cleaner and air then it worked fine.

Well once I get the rest of the parts for this I'm going to disassemble for sandblasting and priming, etc. Meanwhile I'm going to put in new piston rings and check the valves.

Well been a while since I updated this but this afternoon I took out the transaxle that was out of someother tractor. This way I can put in the proper hydro rear it should have. Right now I'm working on tearing it down for paint.
