I have found a 2 cyl Mitsubishi diesel for $500 plus another $120 or so for shipping, so I am asking if it's worth it? It was last run 2 years ago and stored indoors on a shelf the whole time. It is water cooled and the guy has no radiator so it was only run in short bits and allowed to cool off in-between. The guy said it ran good and seems to know what he's talking about since he's putting a 4 cyl yanmar into a Toyota pick up. So opinions? Please and thank you, Alex

I think it would be a decent buy for $500 if all it needs is a radiator. Paying for shipping sucks no matter what. I would see if he would take a flat $550 for it with shipping. Or keep your eyes out on a Kubota which lately there have been two that popped up on ebay.

LOL, I wanna know the details first. Also I can't imagine the 3 cylinder being as easy to squeeze under the hood as a 2 cylinder but it would be fun trying.

George, you mind posting links to them?

Mike, do you have any more pics and info on the motor? Thanks for the help, it's going in my mini dozer project.

Oh, LOL. Sorry about that. There is one on ebay right now in Jersey for $310, I believe Coldone linked to it in the ebay/craigslist forum and there was just one on there that went for $400 that was complete with radiator.
