I have been looking for another Case or Ingersoll tractor.  Don't  know why I ever sold my last one.  I like the idea of a 20 hp machine and the power steering.  Saw this on Craigs last night, called the seller, and went and picked it up this morning.  Pretty much bare bones, no hitch or hyd. valve on the back.  It does have the holding valve installed on it.  I tested it on a hill in the sellers back yard.  First time I have owned a case tractor that does not free wheel down hill. That is a great feature.

It came with Goodyear ag tires on it, a 48 inch mower deck, and a snow blade.  I have already found and bought a  3-point hitch for it.

I'm gonna have to find a way to make it to Ball Hollow plow day this year.

Oh yea.  What do you think of the John Deere seat?  Makes it look special, don't it?

Very good looking Ingersoll 4020 you got there. Would love to see you make it to the Ball Hollow plow day this year. The JD seat doesn't look too bad on it. Coloring might be a little off :D

Ag tires look great on it and that is awesome you got a 3pt hitch for it already.

Good job on the Ingersoll!

It looks to be in great shape.  To make you feel better about whatever you paid for it, a new tractor by itself with power steering (and a Vanguard engine) is in the $9000 area.

Merry Christmas!    I got the new to me  3-point hitch in the mail Saturday for the tractor.  I started installing it yesterday, but the bottom mounting holes would not line up right.  Flipping the top bracket over like the manual said to do did not work either, so I drilled 2 new holes and moved the top bracket down, which raised the bottom edge of the back plate up even with the bottom of the rear end, and doing that lined up the service plug in the rear end and the lower mounting holes perfectly.  I finished hooking up the hydraulic lines today.  It works fine.  That is a old drawbar hitched to it off of a P K .

That's a good looking beast. I like the way the seat sits lower than the fenders...kind of like sitting in a recliner :)
