I have a model 37 snow thrower on my 210 with electric clutch I put a twist in the belt so the auger will go the right direction and now the belt jumps from the idler pulley to the v pulley on the thrower what would cause this thank you

Is it a 37 or a 37a?  Got a serial number?

I had the same problem with a 37, so I found a 37A, no more problem!

Best to use only John Deere belts on JD equipment!  They have a slightly different bevel.

check and see if the pulleys are aligned

smowblower.png

check the pivot bolt #7 and the bushing #8 to see if it is worn

if they are worn you can not align the belt

mine were worn and eat the belt up
