Does anyone know the exact length of the pin that goes inside the spring on the shift rails?  When mine came apart there was no pin.  Both balls were there and the spring had grease in it but no pin.  It is my understanding that the pin needs to be there to prevent one rail from moving unless the other is in the center position (neutral, when shifting with the shift lever).  I can make a pin but would take a lot of trial and error to get it the right length.  Would sure help to know the length to start with.   I am talking about the 6 speed transmission but they are probably all the same.

I have around 50 on the self if you want a new one they are $.60 each. But to be honest it would cost more to ship then the part cost. Unless you need more parts that would make it worth the shipping cost here is the info on the pin 1/8 dia and length is .300 thousandths long
