Hummmmm

With the name "sparky" and a "suit"....are you an electrician?

Reminds me of the old show, "What's My Line" where famous people listened to some of the things a person does, then tries to guess what they do. I know you old guys remember that show....

I won't save it until the 22 nd  .  70 years ago a man named Ike had a lot of people wanting a White Christmas  .  He had his own problem with a loose nut or two  . The job at hand everybody thought was gonna be over by now .

In the interest of expediency he called up General Patton and  told him to have at it . With a special prayer , the weather cleared and the men who made the  NUTS saying famous were able to finish their job .

   Merry Christmas everybody .

This thread wouldn't have worked in joke thread . It has running on potential .

Occasionally someone will ask where Maynard is . Obviously he is still lurking in the minds of men and some ladies .

The tooth was really bad and no pain was felt when the darn thing came out .

On a side note : Cat gave me a really good idea . If hardware is obsolete , no longer needed ,and doesn't need to be identified why bother . The story stays the same .

Real recent situation happened . Owners vehicle had run - in with gate post while in reverse motion at slow speed . The flex pivot did not flex. Ice on drive way . Usually not a good situation for operator . Situation was explained satisfactorily and documented by body man that event happened the way the operator explained during daylight hours .

Probable cause for the operator to sleep well during holiday season . In spite of almost total damage to shell and glass on drivers rear view mirror .

My head is starting to hurt, but it could be from the case of lite, any how does a day off after driving the service van through the shop door come close? No snow or ice involved, just bad judgment.

The boss accepts the notion that certain hazard exist in remote environments where the terrain is uneven or hilly . Long stretches between events help the notion that carelessness is not involved  - very long stretches .

When natural light is not there  , driving becomes difficult .  Often , around holidays , fermented beveridges and bad operator judgement  are really brought into question at night under these circumstances . Rather not be in that situation .

A 100 mile drive home gives lots of time to come up with right answer .
