Well got these two threw a trade today. The garden all is a model s3. My third s3, and my earliest its a 1947, which I believe that's the first year these were made.  Nice complete tractor. Came with the plow, disk, and half of a front blade (which is ok because I have the other half). I was very excited about the bolens. Its a model dj. Motor dates to December 1929 which probably makes the tractor and early 30. Came with a complete set of cultivators.  Gona take some work. Someone relocated the spark plug where the gas tank mount should be :wallbanging:  , and plugged the original spark plug hole. So hopefully I can just take the plug back out and put a spark plug back in it and get the original gas tank mount. That's what im hoping for anyway. So at this point the bolens is my oldest walk behind.

Bob, the plug that is in the spark plug hole is the original tank mount that belongs where the s-plug is. Just swap the two.The original tank bracket won't be hard to make. You should be able to find a closer looking tank too.
