Bought this to steal some parts off of. When I went to pick it up I am thinking "standard" size GT, wow this thing is big! I mentioned it must weigh 1000 lbs, and he said 880 lbs. I thought it was interesting that he knew the specific weight.....then saw the weight (880) written on the back of the seat. Another saved from the scrap yard! Now I know why the tank was missing! Came with a complete 3pt hitch. Going to see if I can get it up and going before I decide what to do with it. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Glad you got her. There not small tractors at all the 18 to 23 HP large frame are tad bit bigger then the 12 to 14 HP large frames also.

:rolling: That's a common reaction when someone sees a Bolens Large Frame for the first time.

As for the weight, that must be the weight as it sits.  I don't have any numbers for the 1455, but the 1250 has a listed shipping weight of 975 Lbs, and that increased with the later models going as high as 1100 Lbs.

Thats crate weight added to the shipping...  Most crates the size a large frame would fit in are in the 100 pound range.

I get that too... especially when looked at from behiend... the tires look like a tubed race car  26-12-12.. when I saw my first bolens,, I said THAT'S THE ONE FOR ME...

The T handles are part of the  3 - pt...
