Made the lower radiator hose this week out of some 1" copper pipe. I think i might add a port in it for the fan control switch. the port near the thermostat will be used for the temp sensor.
I have an orbital valve for the power steering coming.
Decided on a different set of gauges and a layout for the new dash
Alternator is here. I didnt want to use the dynamo that came with the engine and the new alternator is cheaper than the regulator i needed for the dynamo system.
Trying to find a part number for a tach/ hourmeter off a kubota mini excavator. The one i bought is only 3000rpm and 3 digit on the hourmeter which i didnt know when purchased it. Im hoping to find one thats 3600rpm and 4 digit hourmeter

heres the lower hose i made. im going to add a port for the electric fan switch and the added length should make it sit more level with the frame.

This is the injector return line going back to the tank.

Today i made the throttle and fuel shut off contols. The larger handle is the throttle. fully forward is idle and all the way back is wide open. Ill add the rubber grips like the pto and park lever have so everything matches

I also ordered a new tachometer/hourmeter from a L2050F kubota.

It feels good to make some progress again!!!!

mounted the air cleaner and made the intake piping. I think i have to find a rubber 90*fitting and i can eliminate the part that jogs out above the throttle linkage. The precleaner will be located above the hood but i want to wait until the dash is made and the hood is extended before i drill the hole.

Also got the electric fan mounted today

This morning i picked up some brake rotors, calipers and a section of a hood to extend mine

How much was that tach, and is it electronic or cable? That's a slick looker!

I don't think my D1005 has a drive fitting for a tach. I'll have to give a look-see.

if it doesnt its easy to add on. the tach drive is driven off the fuel camshaft on the front of the motor. i think thats about 45$ if you need it. the cable im using is part # 67800-55410 and is 17.90$
