How rare are these little guys. I have someone telling me they are very rare and how hard are the motors the find this one is missing it's motor and then how much is one worth no motor no attachments

One in super original condition would be a real hen's tooth. Most are beat or ready to scrap. The model in general isnt all that rare. They are far more scarce than a Simp Broadmoor or Yeoman, but also lack the ability to run rear attachments that the Simplicity's have.

If someone is telling you theirs is "rare", they are prolly yankin your chain. Run a CL search and I bet there are 3-5 listed now. They are fun little machines though. Almost any briggs single vertical shaft will drop in.

Like Josh says; engine very easy to find. Tractor in pic has some rust issues and not all that rare. No engine and condition it's in add up to $75 to maybe $100 in my book...Dave
