Okay I know this is electric tractors and I am a bit of a tractor nut but I also sell golf carts! My idea has been to make an electric belly mower you could hook to a electric golf cart! Now if anyone gets rich off of this dont forget about me!! The drive is all done along with steering breaking ect. You could easily do a 6 to 7 foot cut. You could add batteries and either use them seperatly or all of them at once. I know I mow 3 acres gas alone adds up. This could be full and yet very usefull. Plus you can make them really cool too!

That's a good idea, golf carts have big battery packs and can easily handle the weight of more. You could do a pull behind or a deck on casters out front, not sure how much room you have underneath.
A good source for 24, 36 even 48 volt mower motors is to place an add "Wanted broken cordless mowers" Ive done that and you can get some good stuff, most times batteries or electronics is all that's wrong with them.
