Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope you all have a safe and enjoyable day. Take time today to be Thankful for the many Blessings that we take for granted each day, and pray for those that may be less fortunate. May God be watching over each and everyone one of us today while we travel, and may he be glorified for the Family time that many of us will share today.

We're both screwed up!

Oops, I mean great minds think alike!

I was going to have the wife pickup some Crown for me to try but it was more expensive than the JB. I have never tried their maple before. Only had JB Maple and JD Honey.  Have had a few scotches and so far the favorite in that department is McCallans (sp?). Obviously we must be paying you too much if you have that big bottle of CR.

Note to self: Check Cat's salary.

Happy Thanksgiving all !   Just taking it easy today besides basic chores.  The kids all have so much to go to with in-laws and such, so we don't have a get together for Thanksgiving & shoot for Christmas.  No turkey today, but we have ham!

And Chris....hoping for a long nap!

First thing I did when I got to the parlor this morning, while it was so quiet, I stopped and gave prayers & thanks for all I have in my life.  I also said prayers for all my family & friends who have illness in their lives.  I don't usually think to pray in the milk parlor, but the peacefulness (before cranking the milkers up) made it come to mind.

Now the reason I quoted myself above........I just awoke from a 3 hour nap!  Teresa is having a late dinner (lunch), so I need to get good & awake.  Ham, stuffing, yams, beans, rolls............yummmmmeeeee!

I'm ready for a nap, now!

Hey, I had another nap after dinner!  Well, sort of a half asleep nap, but restful.  Just finished afternoon feeding early.  Done for the day.

Round two today. Full on battle, none of this tiny ham stuff. 18 pound bird going in a fryer. Rich, look NW and watch for smoke!
