Only a hour till the holiday lol. :tapping_fingers:

Have you got your stocking hung by the turkey?

I'd like to thank each of you personally, but that would be impractical.

Thank you all for what you bring to this place. God bless you for another year!

Happy Thanksgiving all !   Just taking it easy today besides basic chores.  The kids all have so much to go to with in-laws and such, so we don't have a get together for Thanksgiving & shoot for Christmas.  No turkey today, but we have ham!

And Chris....hoping for a long nap!

9# turkey breast is in the oven, pumpkin pie was baked yesterday, cinnamon apples fixed yesterday, green beans, tators-n-gravy & rolls.  Dinner will be ready by noon!

Address not included for a reason!  And, doors will be locked, just in case!   :D

This is the one day of the year that many men deep fry a turkey. I'm at my daughters house today, watching the grease fires over the city. (Look at that garage go up! Wow!).

I fixin' the stuffing, making candied yams, and baking the Rhodes rolls this morning. Got the giblets and necks cooking right now. We are using StoveTop stuffing, but the broth from the giblets will take the place of regular water. Should be yummy!

Don't worry about me invading. Where'd the dark meat go?

We both prefer the white meat, so we only buy the turkey breasts when they're on sale!  They'll keep a long time in the freezer.
