Can't install the ROPS till I get the rear fender pan done,I still have to repaint the ROPS ,from sitting for 35+ years is has some scratches, hopefully it will be on by the end of next week, then its on to the loader to be redone

And what he's not saying is his buddy told him he'd fix a HT23 fender pan so he could use the flip forward seat bracket, and didn't get it back to him on time or the ROPS would be mounted. I'll punch the hole and it's all yours 👍

Fender pan was in very nice shape, but didn't realize that the hole for the hydro dipstick was going to be different, all should be good now,I like the spring type better that's why I went to that style

That is really looking nice. I think I may have seen the remains of an HT that once had a ROPS on it. It was years ago, but there used to be a place outside Gallipolis Ohio that had various junk tractors. I actually bought a dash panel for my HT23 from the guy. Anyways, he had a large frame that was mostly parted out stuck in one of the corners of an old building. I crawled back to see it (it was really buried), since it was pretty much the only large frame there. It was missing the hood and other parts... but the fenders were still there (minus a seat). I remember clearly that it had identical holes drilled on both sides. At the time I just figured someone had tool boxes mounted... but after seeing this... I bet it had a ROPS on it. I never looked under to see if it had brackets, because I didn't know such a think existed back then. I was just focused on finding a mower deck and dash back then.

Can't wait to see more pictures! That think is definitely beefy.

Ok, made some good progress today, got the hood painted and new decals on,headlights back in,got the loader remounted, all looks very good,I really like the looks of the ROPS,the only thing left to do now is get the canopy sanded and painted then it can be put on,maybe a while before that gets done,Holidays coming and the wife has some chores I need to get done with before then, will see how time goes, leaving for Florida first of Jan so time is getting tight,at least I can use the tractor if needed

Looks real good. At least you gained some extra weight on the rear for the loader use.

Ya, the ROPS added some extra weight for sure ,I still have to see what I'm going to do about a weight box,the one that was on there I don't like the looks of,those Firestone 23 degree angle cut tires get pretty good traction,I have the tires loader with window washer fluid,10 gals in ea one plus the Bolens weights,50 lbs ea,my buddy has a weight box we may adapt to fit

Thanks for the compliments guys, been a fun project to do,my wife said the same thing, you won't want to use it,I will be a little more careful now for sure, the new decals for the loader went out today, should be here by Tues or Wed,I now know of a second one out there,29 CHEY from Canada on MTF posted he had one and posted pics of it today, brings up a couple questions though,he said he's second owner and this belonged to a school district,it has seat belts, and at one time had a cab but got misplaced over the years before he got it,I know on the bottom of my Roll bar was written 4 pieces, that might explain it Roll bar,canopy,2 seat belt pieces,HUMMMM,sure wish I could find somemore info on it
